Perfect fit for the giant salt lamp
The cord of my giant salt lamp is definitely obsolete. This is a simple socket, a switch/plug assembly with a tension clamp at the base of the socket - plugs right into the base of the lamp and lives in that cavity. The last one was black but I prefer the white wire. A series of photos should give an idea of what it is and how it works. I highly recommend it.
