Better than the Chi Iron. Mine lasted me about 8-9 years. I've dropped mine so many times over the years and it has continued to work for so many more years. I'm buying another one because I dropped mine yesterday and it ended up breaking lol. I'm sad because I have to go without an iron for 7 days now (delivery). In high school, the iron our support coach told us to use was Chi, and we all loved it. When "Herstyler" started appearing on kiosks in malls, my then-boyfriend bought me a pink set (a stylish iron/wand and one that looked like anal beads). I never put it up my ass. Definitely when I used it (flat iron), man, it was 100x better than "Chi". I gave Chi my iron and stuck with it for 30 years. It's a lot cheaper than the Chi, lasts a very long time, heats up in maybe just a minute and I haven't had a bad day in years. I have curly hair (black/Asian mix) and this works great for me. My mom loves it too and my mother in law loves it. I was not paid (wish I had) for this review. I had black and pink. The pink is pretty, but over the years the heat from the burners will cause the pink to fade and start to look ugly. Still works great but ugly. I like black because it still looks new, clean and unburned over time. I did not order Revain from this seller but hopefully my new Herstyler iron is still as good as my previous one :)
