Review on 🧦 Men's & Women's Ankle Compression Running Socks - Low Cut Athletic Socks (2 Pairs) by Dave Calabro

Toes are too loose otherwise a good option for hot weather

I had surgery on my metatarsophalangeal joint (the base of the big toe) and had swelling in that area and this problem is expected to continue for a few years and months . So I need something for forefoot compression that also fits my shoes. Compression stockings should be tighter at the top and then slightly less tight as you move towards your body to squeeze out the fluid. These socks have very loose toes - just like regular socks. The toes are so spread that they contract and crumple in the shoes. This also means that the socks sometimes push liquid onto the thumb instead of the foot. The socks also have more compression in the arch than in the forefoot, which I don't like but isn't a problem for me. People with plantar fasciitis might like this. The ankle was comfortable. The material was the right compromise between strong enough to work and not too hot. I also like that the socks look like normal socks. I will continue to use the socks I bought but will not buy more of this style.

Pros
  • Good job
Cons
  • Some minor things
