Review on πŸ“± Spigen Ultra Hybrid Mag [Anti-Yellowing Technology] iPhone 13 Pro Case - White | MagSafe Compatible (2021) by Thomas Ramirez

Better than Apple clear case at half price

I received this case and the clear MagSafe case from Apple a few days before the official release of the iPhone 13 Pro. These seem to be the most trustworthy clear magnetic cases available right now so I wanted to pick the best of the two. At less than half the price of an Apple case, this Spigen seems like an absolute no-brainer. I've always been a fan of Spigen products and this model lives up to its reputation while Apple falls short. First, I love that Spigen offers a case with a black MagSafe ring that better matches my graphite finish. iPhone. The Spigen case has a softer, more flexible material on the sides than the Apple case, which is made entirely of a hard type of plastic. This softer plastic gives Spigen's case a small but noticeable advantage - Apple's case almost feels slippery in comparison. Durability is definitely a plus for me. The only downside is that softer plastics tend to yellow faster over time (in my experience with older Spigen cases), but the price makes it a reasonable replacement even if it does yellow after 8-9 months. I was surprised that the magnets in the Spigen case seem to be a bit stronger than those in the Apple case when attached to the magnetic car mount that I also just received. While it's a small difference, it's reassuring to have the extra strength to ensure my phone doesn't fall off the mount while driving (so another point for Spigen). Finally, another noticeable advantage is the "legs” on the back of the Spigen case. The Apple case doesn't have feet on the corners of the case, which means the case will wobble a bit on the camera bar when resting on a table. The Spigen case is more stable on flat surfaces due to the feet. All in all a great price - the Apple case is again in favor of this guy.
