Review on Aspen Snake Bedding by Zoo Med by Lonnie Batch

I have never been disappointed with this Aspen bed linen. We have a small western wartsnake that burrows. He loves building new tunnels in his terrarium with this litter. This bedding keeps the terrarium nice and dry and prevents mold from spilled water or other debris. We've been using Zoo Med Aspen bedding since we first got a snake. It's recommended to change the bedding every 30-60 days, but if you're cleaning up your pet's feces, it usually takes much longer. This bedding does not have a strong odor. It's a bit dusty when you first put it in the terrarium, but it settles almost immediately. Every time we buy new bedding for our pet, he spends many hours digging new tunnels and seems to enjoy it. We feed our snake in its tank with tongs and have never had a problem with it swallowing the litter. I'd just say always be careful with this, but we've never had any problems with it. I would recommend this Zoo Med Aspen bedding to anyone who has a burrowing snake in their terrarium.
