I've been using this iPad case for a few months now and I think I really like it. It's extremely durable, the surface is easy to clean, my iPad fits snugly, and the vertical positioning features are great. It was mentioned that the lid doesn't close well enough to turn it off - that wasn't a problem for me, but I can see that the iPad doesn't turn off if you pull the lid back. The lid attaches to the back of the case - it's just part of the back that flips up to cover the screen. I gently pull it all the way out, not training it to bend the creases (which run along the side edges) into a sloppy half-way position, which would make the lid too short to reach the full screen. .
