I bought a portable ceramic heater for its anti-tilt feature, but other problems immediately arose. The heater is surprisingly very small (about the size of a heavy wallet), which is normal and good for saving space, but immediately after use it gave off a strong odor, similar to overheated metal, wires or paint, etc. (This is a problem for pet birds who are extremely sensitive and susceptible to such gases which are fatal to them) Then within 15 minutes a fuse blew through the unit leaving part of my house in darkness. As I have mobility issues I couldn't go down the stairs to the basement to reset the switch. I immediately lost confidence in this product, fearing that electrical problems might recur or reoccur regularly, and sent the unit back. Gave it two stars for its good performance, but I didn't get a chance to test the heater's performance.
