This is a good lip balm with SPF, but another Aquaphor product, Aquaphor Advanced Therapy Healing Ointment, is more effective at moisturizing lips take care of. but it has no sun protection factor. I use this Aquaphor ointment at night and the SPF version during the day. This SPF lip balm is thinner and doesn't keep lips hydrated for as long as an ointment, but it's still good. In addition, it has a sun-protective taste, so you have to be careful not to get it in your mouth. I would like Aquaphor to use the same formula as the Advanced Therapy Healing Ointment, just adding the SPF ingredients. Another good SPF lip balm option is ChapStick Lip Moisturizer and Skin Protectant - SPF 15. It comes in a blue tube. An app takes at least 5 hours and is very affordable.
