E.L.F. Ride Or Die Lip Balm, Ultra-Hydrating Jojoba Oil Tinted Sheer Finish, Boss Berry 0.42 Oz (12G) Review

I usually enjoy elf products but this one doesn't work for me. It's nicely moisturizing but has a perfume taste that I couldn't deal with. Color was nice tube had foil safety seal. A tiny bit sticky but that wasn't the deal breaker for me. The tube doesn't really have an applicator either so you will have to use your fingers or squeeze directly and hope you don't use too much. A little does go a long way so it's cost effective.

I don’t expect all my lip products to taste *amazing*, but I do appreciate a baseline level of neutral taste for anything I’m going to put on my lips and inevitably get small tastes of throughout the day. Normally I really like e.l.f. products, both their packaging and product alike. The product itself is nice, though I can't say i'll be running to get more anytime soon - it's a bit runny and I don't see the tint at all. it IS moisturizing, i'll give it that, but I think I would prefer normal chapstick over it if that's the only purpose.What I don't like about this, is the product application tip - It's completely flat where as these days I would normally expect some kind of organic/slanted…

it takes like old lady perfume and smells of it I had to shake the tube because when I first tried to put it on there was clear liquid. I previously had bought the berry verison and did not experience any of this the smell of the one I had was amazing and I never had to shake it.

Cons:- Applicator is horrible, super small, and a bit sharp. It is very difficult to apply.- The actual product is weird. I don't know if this is how it is supposed to be, but when you get some product out, comes either the transparent glossy part or the actual color. I thought it was just the first time, but not, same thing happens after using it several times. This color isn’t as red as you might suspect, and instead is more of a muted red brown, almost bricks color.You have to warm up the tube in your hands before it can be applied however, which is frustrating, but must have something to do with the formula. It feels buttery when applied and leaves lips soft, even after removing. The flavor is weird and off putting should you get it in your mouth when eating lunch or something.

The E.L.F. Ride or Die Lip Balm comes suitably packaged in a pretty dark cherry red poly plastic tube with a screw-on cap. You get 0.4oz of product for $6 as of this review. This is sooo hard I can barely squeeze any out of the tube. Cute color when I am able to get a bit of it out but definitely not worth the hassle. Very sticky layer over the lips, not moisturizing at all.

I immediately threw this in the garbage with disgust after trying it for the first time.It smelled/tasted like Rose Soap.Fine if you like that, but I like Cherry.Definitely will not try again.

When I first put this on I was floored. It was a beautiful neutral, beautifully shinny, thick lipgloss. Problem is…it only last for what feels like minutes. I just wish it had last ability. When I’m on the mood for it, I just continually put it on.

This gives a beautiful sheen to the lips and is very thick and hydrating. This scent and shade is hard to find so I’m not sure if the original company discontinued it but I’m glad I found it for a great price!

This product is very moisturizing and sits nicely on top of other products. I would definitely say the consistency is more of a thick gloss than a balm, but it’s not sticky.

Only elf product I've ever had a bad experience with. Maybe it's good, but I wouldn't know since the entire contents are hardened inside the tube and won't come out. I tried warming it by placing the tube in some warm water but no luck. Bummer.

Nice color, a little hard to spread until it has warmed on your fingertip or lip. Feels good on the lip. Taste and smell are bleh but that doesn't matter to me. A little goes a long way with this stuff! The tube is small but it's going to last a long time.

The product itself is great but there is no applicator so it is so messy to put on. Add an applicator and it would be 5 stars Thanks for attention.

This has easily become a new favorite. The color is spot on for what's displayed and what I was looking for. It can be used on it's own or combined with other lipsticks or glosses. The fragrance is amazing! Moisturizes really well and lasts all day.

Made my lips chap. Smell nice. Super sticky and in-pleasant. Bought 2 extra as gifts due to good review I saw, now embarrassed to give as gift. So total waste x3. Sad about it was excited to give girlfriends fun gift. This is not it.

I love elf products so I’m kind of disappointed in this one. I ordered boss berry because I liked the bright pink color, however, the gloss inside the tube I got is clear. It isn’t bright like advertised in the picture.

This lip balm has a nice color once it is properly mixed but the color did not last as long as I had hoped. The lip balm was a little thick and worked best with an applicator to apply to your lips.
