Review on Marina Hang On Breeding Box Large by Alicia White

NOT SAFE FOR ANGEL FRY!

As in the previous review, this box is not intended for juvenile fish! My angel flew from a wide gap! I collected all the eggs and left fewer than 10 hatchlings when I counted this morning! I did a similar lockdown as mentioned by another user after losing most of the juveniles and only saving a few thanks to the angel parents who were guarding the juveniles. in the box. You managed to save some of the kicked out fry and put them in a corner! I didn't find out about this until I noticed the parent guarding a corner of the main pool, a 120 gallon communal pool, frantically chasing away any fish that came near! Conclusion: In my own experience, this box is excellent and a must have. have a tool for every dedicated aquarist to "accustom themselves" to introducing new fish, after completing the necessary "quarantine" and to protecting weak fish. Also great for growing eggs to serpentines. BAD for free swimmers as they swim to the top and risk being thrown into the main tank and eaten! I decided to put free swimmers in a large brood net and add an air stone to increase water movement! If you choose to use filter media to block the hole that water is draining back into the aquarium, make sure you clean or change it as often as possible to avoid overfilling due to dirty material used! I am an experienced aquarist and I strongly recommend NOT DOING ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE FOLLOWING MANUFACTURER'S GUIDELINES AND RECOMMENDATIONS!

Pros
  • Hangs outside the aquarium
Cons
  • Can't remember
