Absolutely the best feed barrel for my horses. This keg contains THREE 50 pound bags of horse feed pellets. A horse has no chance of opening it, but it's fairly easy for a human to unroll or pull it on with two hands. A barrel this size is handy for getting to the bottom when food is running low. The barrel keeps the feed dry and rodent-free. My neighbor recently lost a mare to feed being stored in an old freezer and now he uses these barrels. These are heavy duty, long lasting kegs that would probably be great for storing items in a damp basement. I have six of these barrels, I use them to feed my horses and I love them!
