This jacket offers good protection against sparks and slag. I've used it for MIG and flux core including overhead and haven't felt any burning under the shell at all. It's quite warm if you wear it for a while, but hopefully it will be perfect in winter. The neat design of the flame has received positive reviews from people. Marked with a star because it doesn't quite fit women's hips. I can fasten the bottom button, but when I have to bend or crouch, it comes loose because it's not light enough. If you're a man, you shouldn't have a problem with that.
