This case has served its purpose! I got distracted loading the kids into the car and placed my iPad on the hood of the car. It wasn't until I hit 50 mph that I realized my iPad was getting air and it was flying out of my car! He fell from corner to corner. It opened and the iPad, still secured in its snap-on case, lifted off the lid. When he stopped he was lying on the lid. Luckily I had safety glass and it only had small cracks on two of the corners where it fell hard. The lower glass is completely intact. In the end, with some minor scratches on the silver case, this case protected my investment! Oh, and my apple pencil fell out too with a little damage at the tip that's easy to replace! I will buy another one of these cases!
