Review on Anker USB C Cable (2-Pack 6ft): Powerline USB C to USB 3.0 Cable for Galaxy Note 8, S8, S9, MacBook and More by Tim Kallimanis

Bought this cable (set of two 6ft cables) for two different purposes: 1. I needed a long (5ft minimum) high speed data cable to and from my Galaxy Note 8.2. I also needed a long cable (6ft was enough) to charge the same smartphone. The good news is that the cable does a great job in either case, charging the Note 8 quickly and transferring files much, much faster than OEM Samsung. USB-C cable It also feels solid. I have to say that while this is quite a thick cable, it is not rigid and bends easily. And of course the price is great for a set of 2 high quality USB 3.0 cables. The only criticism is the appearance of the cable. (Hence 4 stars and not 5.) To be clear, I've been using it for a few months now, but it still retains the original "flex marks" it received in the retail box (see photo) . What I mean is that although I've straightened the cable several times (right after I unboxed it and a few more times after that) and the cable hasn't flexed much since I've been using it, it's still good to look at is exactly as the cable was stored in the retail box. It just doesn't make the cable look as stylish as, for example, another Anker cable - Anker PowerLine+ USB C to USB A 2.0. (Bought and then considered this cable). Conclusion: Excellent cable, definitely recommended, especially if the cable is not part of the interior.
