Very cute but quite small

We are returning this item which is sad because it is really cute. He's too small. Pros: Very easy to assemble. Nice design. Really spacious tray. Continuous. high sides. Thick padding (including belt covers). Affordable price. Cons: The tray has 3 positions - 1 is closest to the child. My LO is 3 months old, 14 pounds, 24 inches tall. The tray does not go beyond level 3! This means that it is not adjacent to it. She can barely reach the tray, let alone play with anything we put on it. The reason it doesn't fit the minimum build is that the plastic comes off the tray and fits between the legs. While I appreciate it in theory, it appears to be a design flaw with this particular chair. In addition, the tablet can be switched on and off with two hands. You can't take it off or put it on with one hand. I have another high chair for my toddler that's also a two-handed tray, but it kind of snaps into place so I can actually do it with one hand. But not this one. Just a bit. The back also looks short. As I said, she is 3 months old, but her head is already on her back. If she grows a few more inches, her head will pop out of her back and have no support. The backrest doesn't recline either and I don't mind it, but I know some people prefer it. We considered keeping the chair as a backrest, but we'll only be able to use it for a few months before it really gets too big. Therefore.

Pros
  • Quick change
Cons
  • Almost never
