These look cute in my plants and my plants have been very happy.I ordered 4 and 1 came from the package broken.I don't know when the other one was tapped on the tail. They are made with very thin glass and the fact that they come to a point is not great for a design. But of course the whole just makes the water immediately flood out. Maybe having a second layer just to the body inside would be a solid idea. That way it the tail is damaged the watering bulb is still funtioning.

They’re cute but god so useless. I thought there was a hole on the top of the bird, but NO you have to add water to it through the tube. I accidentally got dirt in it and dirt went inside it. You need to add like some kind of lame piece of paper towel at the opening. Well when you pull it out of the dirt to refill it, you lose the paper towel inside the dirt. The product looks exactly as pictured, they are very pretty glass birds. Read everything carefully - there is no air hole at the top so yes, the water comes out slowly - it's a long-term watering solution! Do wrap the end with cotton to let water out, but keep dirt from entering the glass stem. Even if you can't get the bird to work, it still looks very pretty. Worth the (inexpensive) cost.

These are made of a fairly thick glass so they are definitely durable enough to handle being pulled in and out of soil often. Love that they are subtle but still fun and unique.

These add a little flair to my indoor plants, they're cute. Seem relatively sturdy in terms of glass being super fragile.

This item was purchased for two potted plants. Although it’s decorative, I find it a little difficult to use due to the way dirt can’t go into the plant for watering.

These are so cute! I have small children so I was worried that the glass would be thin but it’s very thick. I highly recommend for convenience and cuteness.This was packed so nicely and carefully that there was literally Styrofoam inside of this to make sure it was not damaged

These watering bulbs are great and they look so pretty in my patio garden. I actually have three in the picture they blend in so well they’re hard to spy. Love love love them.

These are just as described. They’re small, but that’s what I wanted for my potted plants. You should use coffee filters to keep dirt out of them. My only complaint is that all the styrofoam packaging used to keep them safe during shipping inevitably makes a mess, and it’s nearly impossible to get little pieces of it out of them.

One of the two has failed to work, but the other one seems to be doing ok. They are a major pain to fill up though as water leaks out the tip of the tail while you have it flipped upside down to get water in the narrow tube, so you have to keep a finger over the tail the entire time. We’ll see if it keeps my calla lily alive while I am on vacation.

By the time you get the bird filled thru the eensy beensy hole and carried it around without spilling any you could have watered your whole garden. They are clear and filled with clear water so you don't really see them amidst the foliage of your plants. These would be okay if you just needed to water your houseplants over a weekend, but not robust enough for outdoor containers and you can't see them anyway. Fail.

Came very well packaged and protected from any possible damage, great quality, adds an elegant touch to plants while watering them. I will continue buying the more plants I get!

Added to my healthy plant a few days ago and it is not watering enough. Not sure how I could mess this up but no idea why it’s not working.

Ordered this item to see how well it would work. I have been watering all plants on the same schedule. Discovered that this approach may not be the best. One plant requires demineralized water while the others do not. These self watering bulbs have shown their overwhelming worth. I will order more. I chose two very different plants for the bulb's initial use. One I had not watered in 10 days. It emptied the bulb quickly -- twice. Once it was satisfied the bulb stayed filled and is now slowly…

This is my first time using a self watering bub and its beautiful well made and thick. its really nice and I hope it keeps my plants alive!
