Use a headband to avoid wrinkles at the hairline and the hose will NOT fall off the hood.

I almost bought it because some people complained about the pipe falling out of the hood. But it will NOT fall out IF you press it all the way. See, you put the hose in and you hear a "click" and it "seems" to be in, but then you have to push again and you hear a louder noise. press and THEN it's in. Then he won't fall out. My hair dryer has a heat setting and a separate wind setting. The "Wind" button (how hard the air is blowing into the hat) offers a choice between "High" and "Low". Even at altitude I could hear the TV. wasn't that loud. And the heating button offers "Hot" and "Warm". I didn't find the "hot" uncomfortable. ---------- However, I wore a "wig band" under the brim of the hat to avoid elastic creases in forehead creases. Maybe without this bandage? maybe it would be hot to the tips of your hair, not sure. But I've worn hats before, and I know damn well what without a headband? I TRY to wake up with sunken red lines all over my hairline that go away after a few hours. Here is the wig clip I use under the brim of this hat: /ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
