To be clear, let me start by saying that this is just a key fob case. It contains no electronics. But that's what I needed. My old key fob worked perfectly except for the spring mechanism, so the key didn't fall out. I was planning to convert the electronics to the new key using a YouTube video. This thing was so tight and so tiny that I took it off completely. The only way to pull the plastic pieces apart is to pry them open enough to loosen a piece of the screw. I must have made the hole around him bigger when I looked at him. Luckily nothing broke. But if I had to use the whole part it would be almost useless. Let me be a single example, I don't see such complaints. But if you receive a similar one, return it if you are not good at such things and cannot get it any other way. Anyway, my old key fob works great now since I got the new spring piece. It was quite a chore, so I'm glad I didn't have to fiddle with the circuit board and transponder.
