I understand why some users couldn't get this to work with the Hue hub, although after some dead ends it works with the Hue app. (The Innr app only works with its own bridge.) The trick is to plug it in and press the "On" button. and while the LED is blinking green, you can find it in the Hue app under Settings: Lighting Settings as if it were a new lamp/bulb (not an accessory as you might expect). If it isn't found after a while, reset the plug (press and hold the power button for 5 seconds), make sure it blinks again, and search again. Mine started on the second try. After that you can rename it to any light source, assign it to a room and so on. I assigned my Hue motion sensor. Two things to watch out for: 1) It makes an audible click when turned on or off (although this can be beneficial in situations where the response wasn't obvious; I know this persists, because I use it to power a lamp is excellent from Hue.2) It takes about a second to turn on or off compared to Hue lamps which have a much shorter delay.
