NOTE. I ONLY USE THIS AS A HEAD FILL FLASH. crazy price of around $50! It's not a rugged device, but I only use it for photographing actors/models, not for hiking in the desert for close-up shots of exotic plants. I'm sure it would be excellent but maybe not durable enough that it's all plastic. In terms of battery consumption, it lasts a very long time even when running at full capacity, which is what I do when filming clients. seems to last at least 4 shots before needing extra batteries. I take about 100 pictures per shot. It's probably very good for what it's usually sold for: dental implants, macro shots of small objects, etc. Note that I also use Bounce, which I put on the ground to give the subject a little more light. Even with full power adjustment, it won't solve your low light problems. but for adding some light to the eyes/etc where you have pretty decent lighting it's worth it. synced to your camera.
