Review on πŸ”§ Tweezerman G E A R Flat Tip Tweezer: Precision Tool for Hair Removal and Grooming by Naomi Johnson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Looks and works like a surgical instrument

Why would a (real) man need flat-tipped tweezers? In our family there are two main reasons. First, my wife is very protective (and secretive) about where she keeps her personal care products. As a result, I can never find tweezers when I need them. The second reason is that I work outside in hot and humid Southwest Florida trying to keep up with our landscaping. Much of Florida's flora has some protective aspect, from sticky and poisonous leaves to thorns/thorns up to 5 inches long. One of the worst is the Reclinata palm. But there are countless others that every homeowner must determine before making the mistake of planting within reach of children or pets. It just so happens that Reclinata is a very showy multi-stemmed palm that can grow up to 40 feet tall and also expand to cover most of the ground. Reclinata palms have very long branches and grow quickly. Unfortunately, without constant pruning, they can grow up to 40 feet tall and produce new shoots that will permanently expand your canopy. Both dead dry leaves that fall naturally and green leaves that you cut can cause serious injury if not handled properly. Gloves are a must, as is eye protection, but even these do not guarantee your safety. My son, even after being severely warned about these palm trees, decided to prune Reclinata in our wetlands and ended up in the ER with a 4 inch spike implanted along his arm. I liked best when I stepped on a dead branch and cut my spine through the sole of my combat boots. It dug into my foot so deeply that I had to ask my wife to remove my shoe before I pulled the rest of the spine out of the sole of my foot. Everywhere except my head the manscaping is done by my wife as I don't see it anyway. And there are so many that it takes scissors and electric trimmers to get the job done. So for me it's more of a medicinal tool, helping me grab and extract tricky spikes/thorns/fragments efficiently. Well designed and easy to use, they are perfect for my needs.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Vulgarity
