First of all, I know the car radio. I'm also a bit audiophile. I like to find great meaning in sound and have a very critical ear. However, I was completely blown away by the sound quality and clarity, as well as the build quality of these $20 speakers. I bought these when I was looking for a sub $50 stereo and speakers for my sons new powerwheels. (Long story). All in all, I was completely blown away by the sound. Excellent low and high response. My neighbor says they sound better than her car radio. 25 years ago speakers that sounded this good would have cost you over $100, and in dollar terms that's a lot more. Pay attention to the power at these spikes and RMS means you should plug them into a fairly low output radio rather than amplifying them, so always check your power output. However, they should work great with most factory head units. Do not be shy.
