Review on 🎧 Bolle & Raven QC25 Bluetooth Adapter for Bose QuietComfort 25 Headphones - Enhancing SEO by Daniel Bruce

Great alternative to buying the $350 QC35

I looked at several wireless headset options. My final requirements were great sound, good battery life, bluetooth and noise cancellation. I could solve my problems by spending $350 on a Bose QC35 and be done with it. Unfortunately I didn't want to do that as my QC25s are perfect and are the best headphones I've ever had. I came across this adapter after doing some research and looking for another product, the $99 Btunes adapter. Ratings on Btunes were ok but only 18 during my search. What put me off was its size and shape. It was huge, bulky, and stuck out like a sore thumb. Then I found AirMods, the shape was awesome, they fit the headset perfectly. At $59, they were cheap compared to buying new cans or a Btunes adapter. When they arrived I tried them straight away. They are charged via the included USB to 2.5mm adapter, which plugs into the jack on the headphones. The red/green LED light is a little hard to see unless you're looking directly at it, but they are there and they work. It took about 2 hours to fully charge from each level in the box. The instructions are very well written, clear and concise. I put them in my headphones and they fit PERFECTLY. Once powered on, pairing was very easy as directed in the instructions and they connected in no time. They show up as a headset on my iPhone 7 and work exactly as if they were hardwired. I can select it as a source when listening to music in multiple apps and it plays flawlessly. The sound is great, I mean come on it's Bose. I didn't notice any difference in sound quality between this and the stock cable. I haven't tested the Bluetooth range yet, but so far 15-20 feet around the house has been quite normal. I've also connected them to my Windows 10 desktop and used them when flying in X-Plane and they worked great here too. It was an even more immersive experience using these headphones instead of my standard desktop speakers. Shortly after receiving them, I went on a short business trip. Starting from a full charge, I've been listening to an audio book while waiting at the airport and on 2 flights with a 45 minute layover, so let's call that around 4 hours mostly non-stop. He paused and played, adjusting the volume and even turning it off completely several times, all through the headphones. The controls are great, although it can be difficult to control the volume and play/pause and play/pause just by touching them, but I think it will work better if I use them more often. Some braille-like knobs on the various buttons would be helpful, but let's be honest I'm not returning these suction cups because they don't have button knobs. All the control buttons are fairly close together so it takes a little getting used to, but functionally they all work as advertised. It can sometimes take a few seconds to turn on/off, and I check this LED to make sure I'm not removing it while the battery is on. They also fit perfectly in Bose's OEM hard case for QC25s. You do NOT need to remove the AirMod adapter to plug it into the case. I slip the charging adapter into my back pocket along with the OEM cable and a spare pair of Apple EarPods, and that's it. Battery life. Again I charged them fully before heading to the airport on Monday afternoon. Heard it for about 4 hours on Monday, a little bit on Tuesday and then on the way home on Wednesday morning. I would say I had about 3 hours before they died, about 30 minutes before my flight landed (of course). I took it to a Sky Club and plugged it into an old white iPhone USB box and let it charge for about an hour while I ate lunch and did some work. Lots of juice for the drive home and more. I also experimented by charging them with my Anker 10000mA portable power bank and that worked too. Minimal interference problems. The only thing I've noticed so far is when walking down ATL's lobby with my phone in my pocket streaming an audiobook and the noise canceling on, I had a bit of interference, but when I pulled it out of my pocket it went away in 10 seconds or so. Given the number of wireless devices in the immediate area, I blame the bombardment of wireless signals in the area. I put it back in my pocket and continued my track with no problems. Generally very satisfied so far. They work like a bluetooth headset, fast connection, easy use, high quality sound and decent battery life. Maybe one day I'll break down and buy a QC35, but today isn't the day. This little gadget really looks like it should have been in these headphones from day one. Sleek, stylish, functional and saved me $. I could just send him a Christmas card this year, that's the least I can do, right?
