Poor workmanship

This product worked well for a few months but then fell victim to poor manufacture. Because it needs to be powered off and charged through the headphone jack, this jack is used a lot. After about half a year, the plug completely detached from the socket because the internal soldering wasn't strong enough. I was incredibly lucky that this happened when I unplugged it from the charger rather than the headphones as it would render my headphones completely unusable. six months.

Excellent. It could be great. A missed opportunity in design, IMO.

Great solution but not perfect. It could be almost perfect. It works very well once it's up and running. The sound quality seems very good and the difference is imperceptible to my ears. I only have two problems with it: 1- You have to take it off the headphones to charge it. Which creates two potential problems: First, you can't charge while still listening. Second, I'm concerned that constantly plugging and unplugging this dongle will damage the connector on the headphones themselves. 2…

Elegant solution but the minimum volume is too high

I have it during the day and it works well except the lowest volume is too loud for me when I want to play music while doing something else. I had it on volume level 2, the lowest level (volume 1 silence) and it was pretty loud. When I unplugged and plugged this product back in, I found that volume level 2 is the normal volume level 4 when plugged in. When the volume changes, a small beep sounds. Aside from the volume issue (is there a way to fix this?), this is an elegant solution and I would…

Started off well but couldn't finish

<<Review updated 29 Dec>> After listening to music on my QC25 with this BT adapter for a few weeks I decided to give it a go return a refund. Why? It turns out that the minimum volume at which I can listen to music is too loud. Just to make sure my iPhone 7+ is ok, I tried the same music at the same volume on my wireless Bose QC35s and SoundSports headsets and on my QC25s that are physically connected to the phone and I play all three Music at low whisper volume (lowest volume…

Great concept but poor execution

I bought AirMod along with QC25 on Prime Day 2018. QC25 really is a bargain. AirMod makes the QC25 wireless, almost boosting it to the QC35II. However, there are so many downsides that I felt like I was using a kickstart product. Pros: It's well built. Once you inserted the AirMod, it pressed against the QC25 and completely disintegrated. No one knows you're using two devices together. The power button doubles as a Google Home button. Interestingly, he is very sensitive and responsive. Cons…

Looks good, sounds good, but there are complaints

In action for about two weeks. The good first: The sound is great. Clean and crisp, especially with noise reduction turned on. Pairing is easy and switching between devices is no problem. Switching devices will require you to re-pair, but that's easy and actually not uncommon. This looks great; You wouldn't even know it's not part of the headphones. It's easy too. The difference between wired and Bluetooth is negligible at best. Battery life seems very good, I used it for commuting every day…

Great alternative to buying the $350 QC35

I looked at several wireless headset options. My final requirements were great sound, good battery life, bluetooth and noise cancellation. I could solve my problems by spending $350 on a Bose QC35 and be done with it. Unfortunately I didn't want to do that as my QC25s are perfect and are the best headphones I've ever had. I came across this adapter after doing some research and looking for another product, the $99 Btunes adapter. Ratings on Btunes were ok but only 18 during my search. What put…
