I have had several humidifiers. My favorites have several qualities: large size, no filters, top loading, and UV sanitizer. With these qualities, they are easy to maintain and as long as you use distilled water, you rarely need to clean them. It has at least two of these properties. bigger and without filter. The trace of this is also good. It's wide, but not particularly tall or deep. so it fits in places where others don't. The opening is large enough for cleaning. And I like this pen. easier to hold than many others. So it doesn't meet all my needs as much as I would ideally like, but it does help keep my house a bit wetter since it gets so dry in the winter. The more units the better.
