Review on 🔌 Elgato Thunderbolt 3 Dock: 40Gb/s, Dual 4K, USB-C, USB 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet, Aluminum Chassis by David Baer

I'm using this for my 2017 15" MacBook Pro and so far so good! I've connected two Asus 2k monitors, one via displayport and the other via USB -C to DisplayPort cable. I then connect my new external Samsung T5 SSD via USB in the back for TimeMachine backup. The unit is smaller than I thought it would be. No weird noises, no hissing at all from the hub. The power supply is quite large but I guess that's to be expected as it powers the MacBook It's really nice to have all my devices connected via just a single lightning cable My only complaint is the lightning cable that came with it is so short. Slightly longer than the Apple Keyboard for reference. For $300 you'd think they could give you a slightly longer cable.
