Immediately after packing, the tablecloth was in deep folds. Immediately washed out wrinkles were still there. low temperature ironing; Wrinkles are completely gone. It's light and a little thin (transparent) but looks great on my black table. The 54" x 54" size leaves 6" of overhang on each side of my 42" x 42" table, which I really like. Hemmed ends are good quality, with little stray threads in the corners that can be trimmed easily. Haven't had a chance to test the splash resistance yet. The price is worth it. If transparency is a concern for you, order the color that best suits your table or consider getting two buy and double them.
