I have noticed that 3 out of 4 light bulbs in our cooker hood have burned out after a series of power outages due to hurricanes. The OE bulbs were 4 years old, so probably lived up to their expected lifespan. I remembered the effort it took the extractor installer to install the original bulbs, but I noticed a small suction cup device that was supposed to make removing and replacing halogen bulbs easier. These lamps are as bright as the originals, dim well as needed and are flicker-free. I replaced all four with a suction cup in less than 5 minutes. I checked the suction cup which I used separately.
