I know why I returned to this great cat food ---- no poop smell. And of course all four of my cats love it! I've tried various dry cat foods over the years (no cat should NEED wet food - don't let your cat suckle) but this is the ONLY food that gives off a faint poop odor. It's actually pretty amazing. I have to remember that I throw away litter boxes because basically it doesn't smell like poo, it smells like urine. Lesson learned: no matter how much odor your litter contains, poop will still smell. Disguising it with bizarre junk just won't work. I just wanted to share my experience. Try it and you will be amazed at the difference. And your cats will love it—even if you've already spoiled them with moisture. You can mix first and then gradually remove smelly wet or dry food.
