Just open the box and try it. I tested my router without it first and it registered between 67 and 70. Then I put it on top of the router, slid it underneath and tested again. The lowest score was a 62 at about 12 feet (the same distance I tested without a bag). I left it on for a few minutes and it seems to be testing the same thing but now between 61 and 62. My Wi-Fi tester shows me all the Wi-Fi and cellular elements in my home and for those readings it shows that my home -Wi-Fi (the one with the pocket) is the strongest. So, in general, this bag is not effective. This can reduce WLAN radiation by 10% at best.
