Review on 🎧 Sony MDR7506 Professional Diaphragm Headphones: Superior Sound Quality and Enhanced Comfort by Branden Type

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Worth every penny. You will not be disappointed! Just know what you are buying.

I've had this for a little over 6 months and although I was going to write a review after the first listen I decided to wait. Included. Impressive. For the price, or not for the price, these are the best headphones I've not only owned, they're the best I've ever heard. These include very expensive cans sampled at Brookstone, Best Buy, etc. Of course, I'm not an experienced music lover, but I know when something sounds good. You sound GREAT. But there are pros and cons: Pros: Sound. Beautiful, clear, nuanced sound. Simply brilliant, and if you've always wondered how music should sound, then these are your new headphones. There's a reason they've been used by professionals in studios for over 20 years (headphone design has never changed in that time!). There's no bias in the sound profile, just balance and clarity like you've never heard before. Sound. Sound. noise reduction. They aren't really designed for that. but given that, they're pretty impressive. I usually wind them up pretty hard and crank them up to a decent volume. but that's how they're meant to be used, and they don't disappoint or miss anything that you don't want to be bothered with. comfort. Very pretty, don't grab my head too tight, I can wear them for an hour or more before giving my ears a little rest. Cable. I play guitar and I can stand and move without worry because the cord is very long and gives a lot of freedom. Price. I paid about $80 for them and they are far superior to anything I've ever owned, including Beats by Dre and others. Cons: Cable. These are home headphones. I mean do whatever you want, but personally I wouldn't walk around or use them as everyday headphones. At about 10 feet long and rolled up, it's not as comfortable as some. Bass. If you are a bass lover, I am sorry but you will be disappointed. They are designed to provide the ideal sound profile intended by the original manufacturer. Even then, with dubstep songs and the like, the bass drops off. I don't actually mind, although I love bass songs because they're so impressive in other ways that I can handle the lack of power. However, they have an extremely fast, crisp, and satisfying response across the entire audio range, including bass. They simply lack the power of headphones like the Beats and others that are designed for bass. Basically just buy. Worth every penny. I use them for studying, playing guitar, watching movies, listening to quality sound, etc. and they never fail to impress. They're really fun to listen to because everything sounds so good! Everything you've heard on the headphone forums and the rave reviews is true, they really are impressive.
