Review on Merkur Chrome Safety Razor 39C for Enhanced SEO by Carrie Williams

Revainrating 5 out of 5

If you like the feel of a razor this is for you.

I prefer heavier razors. Not that I think it improves the quality of the shave, it just feels more luxurious in the hand. With the disappearance of 37c, which would have been pretty hard, 39c is now your only Mercury oblique option available. This thing has some serious weight. The length of the handle is the longest I have. I don't think the handles can be too long as you could choke on them depending on your hand size, but for some this may not be desirable. Again, this is a long razor. But if that's not a problem for you, this will be one of the most comfortable zamak razors on the market. If you've come across the 34C, just know that it has a narrower field of view than the 34C. With the 34C you can literally shave effortlessly because it works at such a wide angle and won't cut or irritate you. With this razor you can shave without irritation, but if you are lazy at an angle, it will cut you. The benefit of this is that if you pay attention to the angle, it's slightly more effective than a 34. You'll get an equivalent shave with fewer passes or clean-ups. If you are discussing this or Razorock German 37; it's a little less effective, a lot gentler, and a lot gentler. I can't shave RR German 37 daily without getting irritated on day 4. I've been shaving with it for two weeks with no problems. Attach and finish on Merkur top. Unreadable visible areas are not polished; No wow what a deal. The polished areas are very well processed. So no, it's not an EJ89, but at least for the razors I own, it's better made than my 33C and 34C. In general I am very satisfied.
