Good for monitor lighting and video calls

My work at home consists of a corner table I bought from a large blue Swedish furniture store with yellow lettering. I needed a side mount light as it would be too far back in the back corner but would still reach my two monitors. This gooseneck lamp easily reaches the screens. It snaps in well and sits right where I placed it. The power button isn't really a button, it's a touch-sensitive point with a glowing dot that makes it easy for me to find it in a room when it's dark. It has different shades of light (can't remember what they're called) but I haven't found a need for it yet. The brightness level can also be easily adjusted. This office has one of those dome or nipple lights that offer easily dimmable overhead lighting. Most of the work I do is reading manuals in fine print and typing on a computer. Participating in online meetings is the second most completed activity of the week. The construction of this lamp is very solid and I experimented by peeling off the foam padding to find the four screw holes that hold the lamp to the clamp. It's not listed in the instructions, but it's my own hack in case I want to install it on my Ikea tabletop.

Pros
  • Sturdy design
Cons
