Used it for sun and heat protection.surprisingly worked as advertised deflects the sun (we are at 6300 ft alt) in New Mexico and adsorbs the heat so you don't sweat . Very comfortable and cooling, would recommend to anyone and everyone trying to stay cool while outdoors
