Sprained my ankle and the doctor advised me to keep it in a bandage or in a bandage, not fully immobilizing but sufficient to keep it from bending too much. The reviews led me to believe this would be a good alternative to the wrap, but it doesn't provide the level of immobilization I was hoping for. This can be useful for minor assistance when you need it. Edit: The seller offered to refund my money as I wasn't 100% happy with the braces, but for $11 I'm keeping them as a backup as I have 3 active kids who will likely need something similar in the future! I appreciate it from the seller. I upgraded to 5 stars because of the customer service; They insisted that I accept a refund as I wasn't 100% satisfied. And to her credit, the thing isn't faulty or poorly made, it just didn't work with my particular injury (or size 13!).
