Beware of old brown grease that stains and uneven blades

Both scissors were covered in very, very old brown grease that ruined the fabric I cut and sewed. I had to remove the soot. But I also have to be careful. I'm not sure if these scissors will rust. Pooh. Also, the small shearing blades were misaligned. The wrong blade was ahead. I had to set the blades myself.
