Review on ASUS Bezel-Free ABF01: Multi Monitor Micro Structures 4.3", Wall-Mountable, Anti-Glare Coating, Enhanced SEO-Compatible Version by Stephen Estrada

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I'm surprisingly impressed.

I was thinking of posting some pics but others on Revain did and they show what I see on my rig pretty well. I didn't have time to position the monitors correctly and set them up fully because my job is OT now. When I installed it last night, there were a couple of icons under the left icon on the desktop that highlighted one of the product's shortcomings. Icons have halos/blur on dark background. I expect it to improve a bit after I tweak it. Otherwise, the picture is clear but a bit darker. And it is slightly enlarged and stretched horizontally. A straight diagonal line forms a small S-curve in the center that runs from one monitor to the next. Is it worth the price? They are worth something with what they do. But $50 more seems to be on the ballpark. I'm assuming a lot of what you're paying for are Asus and ROG titles. All of those OTs I mentioned earlier pay out well, so I didn't worry too much about the price. If you have a three monitor gaming rig and don't mind the cost, I would suggest buying a bundle of these. If enough people buy it, Asus might offer an improved version that fixes some minor bugs. All in all, pretty impressive for a couple of strips of optical plastic. 4 stars because of small defects and because of the price.

Pros
  • A good product. Not worth $100. A range below $60.00 would be more like it.
Cons
  • they fit terribly and only get in the way
