No continuity or ground faults. I get good sound from the 3.5mm stereo jack on my computer's motherboard to a pair of JBL 305P MKII powered monitors on my desk. The design of the cable and connector looks normal. The bushings have a nickel appearance and have die cast bodies to reduce stress. They are not Neutrik quality but I have no complaints about the price. As some have explained, you can increase the distance between TSR connectors simply by gently spreading their cables apart. Down from the new one there is a thin, tight, possibly heat-shrinkable rubber sleeve about 8 inches that ties the ends of the TSR cable together. To get more spacing you can just snip this with a knife or use your hands to pull/feed down a few inches at a time, which I did to get 3ft of separation. Remember that fully balanced performance is best in all cases, but if you need a TRS single-ended to single-ended patch cord, this product is perfect.
