Review on 🏼 Snow Boots for Toddler and Little Boys by Stride Rite Made2Play by Maurice Stavros

They do not have a waterproof construction. I had high hopes for this shoe but it didn't live up to expectations. DOES NOT retain water. In two different descriptions SR describes this shoe as waterproof and I can confirm that this is not the case. When my son first wore them I kept thinking it was a great design, perfect for an active kid who could wear it instead of his clunky mud boots on a slightly rainy day at the playground. But when we took the shoes off, they were wet on the inside, right at the seams where the boot meets the sole, and the socks were wet. The second time we put them on was on a snowy day and all the shoes got soaked. The design is great, but it would be nice if SR could actually make them waterproof. Another problem with them is that when they get wet, the insulation gets completely wet. After that, the boot becomes heavy and difficult to dry. I gave these two stars instead of one because as I said they tried with the design but it just doesn't work the way it should. Maybe it would be better with just dry snow, but in this case I would put the kid in real snowshoes because the insulation factor in them can be a bit weak in snowy conditions. Just wanted to give moms a little word of warning when ordering these for use in all wet conditions.
