I bought it to replace almost dead light bulbs in pendant lights in the kitchen. Overall I am impressed with the quality of these lamps. They're a bit bigger and heavier than the bulbs I've had, but that's a good thing as they don't feel cheap and flimsy. The light output is a little more orange than I would like but doesn't bother me at all, it's actually quite nice at night. In general, I would recommend buying them for Edison bulbs.
