These are fantastic lounge or play pants, definitely seem gender neutral. Light and breezy, perfect for spring/summer and even sleeping. The lightweight fabric and elastic ankles will be helpful in reducing bug bites during nighttime summer walks. Ordered 2 pairs of these. Got the 4-5’s for my 3 year old who is a big dude(pictured), he wears 4-5T’s at carters for comparison. Ordered the 5-6’s for my 5 year old who is tiny but tall, she wears 3t shorts & 4-5t leggings bc of length needs. Both pairs fit great, kids played in them all evening with no complaints. I expect some shrinking if dried, but haven’t washed them yet.
