Sturdy and elegant body. My new 2019 iPad mini fits snugly in the case and doesn't slip or move. The cutouts are precise, and if I spilled liquid and had to wipe the case, I was able to do so with ease (provided the spilled liquid didn't touch any exposed components). Disassembly of the hull was easy; I watched the tutorial video, just to be sure I put my iPad in and put it back together. It is reliable and "tenacious” in the hand, all sides are protected and only slightly increase the weight of the Mini; certainly not enough for me not to have it. While I haven't actually tested for drops (nor do I intend to), I have a feeling that if I accidentally drop the tablet I'll be fine. The sequins are covered so they don't fall off or get scratched, that's a great design for me! I'm quite picky and research products before I buy, so I'm happy to say this was a great purchase and well worth the money!
