Dear Altra, just remake Lone Peak 4 and all its variations and don't change anything. They were great shoes. The new midsole isn't listed as a running shoe so I'm hesitant to buy it because of the design around the ankle. I tried to order a pair of sneakers but the size was too big which was a problem for this brand from the start. I was originally a size 8 and they fit great. 4 was a full size too small... and it fit perfectly. Size 7 is sold out on most websites. At least in the colors that I will wear. Another note for buyers... all-weather "waterproof" shoes are a marketing ploy. I prefer this iteration as I live in a humid climate so having something is better than nothing. They're good for little muddy puddles and wet grass, but once used properly and their construction breaks, they're really more like a slow-moving sponge. So please don't fantasize about real waterproof shoes. You need real leather if you want your shoes to be truly waterproof. Reading other comments, I noticed that all of the negative reviews contained comments about how the new shoe couldn't be compared to the 4s. It should say something. Hope that helps
