I wanted to like it that way, and in a way it's great. The concept is wonderful. Who doesn't want to mix and match with minimal cleanup? And the price is very affordable. The design of the bottle is very nice and as a bottle it is good in its own right. But as a mixer - fine. The constriction in the middle doesn't allow for a good mix flow and I've found that I need a lot of liquid to mix. Blender blades are good for fruit but not good if you want to add veggies. Vegetables (I use spinach and kale) stay big enough if you get stuck while chewing (mainly kale) and they also wrap around the blades, making it less effective. If you only use fruit in your smoothies or don't mind big greens then this is a good buy. If your smoothie must have leafy greens, you might want to invest in something else. I know people who have Nutri Ninja and love it.
