I ordered it for a very temporary and special use (36 hours). When I tried to remove it, it became brittle. It's a little surprising. It was easy to remove. However, by that time it also lost any benefit for long-term use. From there it would fall apart within a day or two. The backing paper could not be easily separated from the entire roll. This created difficulties in applying to the surface and part of the roll then stuck to itself rendering the section unusable and having to be cut off. But part of it was in what I needed, so made for a bulky roll area I had to leave it in place. Next time I will not order this product again. It's way thinner than I need. And I need the backing paper to peel off easily when applying.
