This is a great waterproof mattress cover. We wear it for about a week. When we first put it on, my husband decided to test it for "water resistance" (his word) by pouring water on it. Yes. Real bottled water, right on the cap. All went well, however, as the only moisture remained on the top of the mattress topper - and on its side. Didn't pass, our mattress wasn't wet. HOORAY! So let's go to bed. I was a little worried it might be crumpled or noisy as some customers have reported. It didn't feel like it, but I could definitely tell there was a lining underneath. Luckily my anxiety subsided as soon as I went to bed. I couldn't tell! And not noticed on other nights either. I'm definitely happy with this purchase so far. I would definitely recommend this product and intend to buy another one so I can lay the other one straight (like I do my sheets) while washing. :)
