Remington SP-94 replacement blades are very sharp and cut fairly close to the skin - not as close as a manual razor, but I'm content with a close shave for one Shaving does not leave painful marks from a razor like hand razors do. The knives are attached to spring-loaded plastic holders and are very reliable. Replacement screens are easy to install, flexible and comfortable against the skin, even around the jaw. stay sharp although I am sure they will last longer. The sieves sometimes have small holes in the middle of a shave, and the sharp edges around the holes in the sieve have cut me in the face on a number of occasions. I always keep a few extra spare screens/knives on hand to replace when needed. Screens and blades are easily cleaned with the small cleaning brush that comes with most Remington razors. Overall I think the Remington SP-94 replacement screens and cutters are a good product. Aside from the screens having holes from normal wear and tear and cuts to the face I am very happy with them and will continue to use them. Local retail stores in my area stopped selling these replacement screens/cutters after a few months. so I was very happy to find her on Revain. The price is about $6 less than what I would normally pay at a retail store, and the fact that they qualify for free super saver shipping (I bought two sets to take advantage of this) makes a difference this at a really good deal.
