They were so easy to install. They were too long for my stove but they are very easy to cut. They are very thick and will not melt from the heat of the oven. They easily slide into the gap between my stove and counter and have enough room to close that space. I hate when I slide the stove out and a lot of crumbs fall and the goo sticks to the oven wall so this is a great solution. They are not fully transparent but if they were transparent they would look ugly if they got dirty. My stove is white so they look good. I am very happy with them
