Review on 🌈 Antec Prizm 120mm Addressable RGB Case Fan Radiator - 3 Pack with 2 RGB Strips by Tarrance Man

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works perfectly! Asus Aura 5v serial connection confirmed. (9xfan installation)

Ordered a large number of these fans and am very satisfied. Pros: Noise level is comfortable compared to others No vibrations Stickers don't stand out High quality construction material Good quality LEDs Front and back solid crowns not separated by structure ONLY 5v 3 pin, not 12v 4 pin Good airflow through my 360 -mm cooler Installation was easy Daisy Chained controllers have drawbacks due to PWM (some of which are purely opinions) The controller combines PWM on one side and RGB on the other side and takes up more space. I bent a pin in the controller, fixed it lightly enough, but don't be an idiot like me, press too hard. I wish I could save a few bucks by not buying these LED strips but they are still worth it. The Fan Xpert 4 has problems with "voting". Note: The Asus Fan Xpert 4 "Fan Tuning" feature should not be used. The fans work fine in the bios and during normal operation, but after I allowed Asus "Fan Xpert 4" to optimize the fans, the fans connected to the controllers got stuck at 100% until I set them to constant, new started and then back to PWM. (Fool the veteran fan that these are new fans. If this gets fixed or anything changes I'll edit my review.) I was originally looking for 120mm argb daisy chain fans and they proved very successful. Operate 9 RGB fans together with the 2 included controllers. The 3-pin RGB connector only has one wire to the connector, swapped around, but doesn't interfere with work. At the end of this review I'll try to provide a schematic of how I did it, in case you're interested. The RGB cables have male and female connectors, ideal if you don't want to plug them all into the controller or run out. cable, but can reach another fan. I couldn't find any information on how many RGB LEDs you can typically daisy chain. They come with an external controller with SATA power delivery, which seems like common sense. I wouldn't run more than 4 from a 5 volt 3 pin RGB header. Press and hold the mode button on both controllers.
