Bought four of them. One of them stopped working after two years. How does a USB cable stop working? There was a slight (and I mean slight) tug on one connector due to the tight fit, but it wasn't anywhere near the abuse I've put other cables through. I guess for $4 I can't complain too much, but it seems like the USB cable should last a lot longer than the protocol version it was designed for. On the plus side, I didn't have to change the scanner. I was about to give up and the last thing on my mind when troubleshooting was the cable. Very strange.
